Hello,
We’re excited to introduce the Chainguard Activity Center — a unified notification experience built directly into the Chainguard Console that keeps your team informed of every change that matters.
What’s Included
- Breaking changes — timely alerts before product or engineering changes affect your workflows
- Incidents — real-time transparency when customer-facing issues arise
- Coming soon: CVE advisories, image version updates, entitlement changes, and more
Notifications can be routed to wherever your team works — the Console feed, email, or your Slack channels — and are filterable by category so each role sees exactly what’s relevant to them.

Important: Action Required Before July 29th
Starting July 29th, we will no longer be sending email notifications from our previous platforms. To make sure your team continues to receive critical alerts for breaking changes and incidents, please take the steps below before that date.
Getting Started
In-App Notifications
Each user’s in-app notifications will be automatically enabled the first time they log into the Chainguard Console after March 13th — no action needed. If you logged in before March 13th, you will need to log in again to activate your in-app notifications. This applies per user, so each team member must log in after March 13th to activate their own.
Slack & Email Notifications
These must be configured by one Owner on behalf of the entire organization:
- Have an Owner log in to console.chainguard.dev
- Go to Console Settings → Activity Center
- Enable Slack and/or email notifications and add your team’s contacts as needed
We recommend having your Owner complete this setup before July 29th to ensure no critical alerts are missed after the cutover.
If you have any questions or need help with setup, don’t hesitate to reach out — we’re happy to walk you through it.
Best,
Chainguard
