Dropping dockerize binary support in temporal-server images

On March 2nd, Temporal’s own changelog for v1.30.1 published that dockerize has been removed as an image dependency. Based on this upstream change, Chainguard will remove dockerize binary support from temporal-server images for both non-FIPS and FIPS variants.

What is changing?

On May 9th, the dockerize binary will be removed from Chainguard temporal-server images for both non-FIPS and FIPS variants.

Why is Chainguard making this change?

Chainguard is making this change to stay aligned with upstream, which removed dockerize binary support starting from release v1.30.1.

How will this affect me?

If you are currently using the dockerize binary, this change may impact your workflows. Since dockerize will no longer be included in the image, any functionality depending on it may stop working.
